Martin joined CBRE Global Investors (former ING Real Estate Investment Management) in 2005 and is in his function as Managing Director CEE, taking care of the group's activities in CEE, as well managing two real estate funds (total $1,8 bn AUM) out of Prague. Beside this he is member of CBRE Global Investors EMEA Management Board and leading CBRE Global Investors Green Team in the EMEA region.

Martin has been working in the CEE region since 1986, focused on the development of office buildings and shopping centers. Before joining CBRE Global Investors, he was founding member of Immoconsult, board member of Universale and DTZ. In the late 1990's he developed and managed a CEE property fund out of Prague. Since 2001 Martin is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the Danube University Austria for Real Estate. He is also the founding member of ACSC (1992) as well founding member and Scientific Board member of IFWK (2009).

Martin was born 1960 in Austria and holds a doctoral degree in law. He is married having three children.
