Jérôme Le Grelle, graduate of the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris ("Sciences Po"), has a rare experience of careers in commercial real estate. He has been confronted with issues of development, management and valuation of commercial real estate assets, both as a user and as an investor.


He began his career in developers' organizations and held various positions in the set-up and development of real estate projects (Bouygues, Kaufman & Broad, Financière Rive Gauche).


In 1997, he joined SEPHORA for the development of the network throughout Europe, and then became responsible for the Real Estate Department of LVMH.


In 2002, he was named President of the French subsidiary of Rodamco Europe, a real estate company specialized in commercial assets, until its merger with Unibail.


After a passage as COO of Carrefour Property, which he set up, he has created his own organization with Convergences-CVL, a consulting firm specialized in retail real estate and town planning of retail properties.

Neville has over 20 years experience in retail property research. He joined CBRE as Head of EMEA Retail Research in 2010. Previously he was working as a consultant and before that as Director of European Retail Research at Jones Lang LaSalle. He joined JLL from Cushman and Wakefield where he was Head of Development Research.

He has extensive experience in providing retail feasibility studies, investment research advice, tenant mix strategies and market entry strategies throughout Europe. He has also managed in-depth research publications in all these areas and is a frequent speaker at major conferences around Europe.

Neville leads the retail research agenda at CBRE and manages its global research outputs including 'How Global is the Business of Retail' and the web-based 'Understanding Retail Destinations'. He graduated magna cum laude in Business Engineering at LIUC – Universita Cattaneo, and then he obtained a Corporate Executive Master in Business Administration in 2011.


From 2006 to 2007 he contributed to the birth of Lab#ID, the accredited competence centre of Auto-ID and mobile technology of LIUC – Universita Cattaneo.


From 2007 to 2012 he worked in the Defence and Aerospace sector where he led international projects regarding change management, business integration and business process re-engineering. From 2010 to 2012 he led, as central planning manager, the production monitoring team focusing on the improvement of ICT tools for the assessment of industrial plants.


He is now a senior researcher and project manager at Lab#ID where he leads technology transfer project focused on the application of mobile technology and Auto-ID and data collection and processing systems in the Smart City context

Lab#ID is the accredited competence centre of Auto-ID and mobile technology of LIUC – Universita Cattaneo. It is a laboratory with the aim of supporting the technological transfer from research to organizations interested in the adoption of auto identification systems, in particular RFId (Radio Frequency Identification) systems, to improve internal processes and take advantage of intra and inter-organizational collaboration practices.
