Born in 1969, after classical studies he graduates in Business Economics with the highest mark at the Bocconi University of Milan. Subsequently he obtains the qualification as chartered accountant. In 1996 he attends a one-year specialisation course in Shopping Centre Management at the Estate Management College of Reading University (UK). Bailey practices what he preaches. Before he got started on building Appear Here, Bailey launched a string of successful pop up shops in locations across London from Carnaby Street, to the Kings Road and Covent Garden.

She has a BA in Management from Simmons (Boston) and is an alumni of Kellogg School of Management (Chicago).
